How many test cassettes should I order?
Simply put, order one for each floor of your home or for every 1000 square feet of space you are testing, plus one for the outside control sample. For greater accuracy, if you have an area of concern (complaint area) on a given floor it is recommended that you test in both that area as well as a non-compliant area.
Example: 2 story 2000 square foot home with a musty odor coming from near the upstairs bathroom. Take one test in the bathroom, one upstairs*, one downstairs* and one outside**

The air sampling technique used in the Mold Screen + Allergen test is unique. The Biopump actually sucks the air (and all the allergens in the air) into a cassette called an Air-O-Cell. It’s specially designed to trap a wide range of airborne aerosols including mold spores, pollen, insect parts, skin cell fragments, fibers and inorganic particulate. The Air-O-Cell collects both viable and non-viable sample specimens, providing a much more comprehensive view than other sampling techniques.
